AGGRAVATED DWI - CANTON - Canton-based state police charged Debra L. Ormsbee, 48, of Canton with a felony count of aggravated driving while intoxicated and endangering the welfare of a child and ticketed her for operation of a vehicle with inadequate stop lamps following a stop at 9:42 p.m. Saturday on Pollock Road in the town of Canton. The DWI charge was elevated to a felony count of aggravated DWI under Leandras Law since Ormbee was allegedly driving drunk with a child 15 or younger as a passenger in her vehicle.
HARASSMENT - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police reported Saturday they had charged Luann J. Wahl, 40, of Massena with second-degree harassment May 13 at 9236 Route 56 in the town of Massena. Troopers said the charge stemmed from an investigation into a complaint made to troopers Aptil 5 from the town of Norfolk.
PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - MASSENA - State police from around the region investigated a number of property damage accidents around the region on Friday, Saturday and early Sunday. Among those were:
■ Philip E. Moulton, 41, of Brasher Falls at 4 a.m. Sunday on state Route 37C, near Hall Road, in the town of Massena.
■ Jenna P. Rougall, 20, of Malone and James T. Puffer, 23, of Dickinson Center were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 8:35 a.m. Saturday on Route 11 at County Route 54 in the town of Lawrence.
■ Leeandrew J. Matthew, 35, of Oswegatchie at 7:50 a.m. Saturday on Pumpkill Hill Road, near Parmeter Road, in the town of Parishville.
■ Paula Kay Cardinal, 45, of Chase Mills at 8:17 p.m. Saturday on state Route 310, near Buffham Road, in the town of Canton.
■ Teresa L. Brothers, 48, of Hermon at 9:25 p.m. Friday on state Route 68, near Potter Road, in the town of Canton.
■ Mandy Lynn Roscoe, 26, of Saranac and Douglas C. Barney, 70, of Constable were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 3:20 p.m. Friday on Chateaugay Street, near Water Street, in the town of Fort Covington.
