BENCH WARRANT - MASSENA - Village police picked up Cory A. Tuper, 27, of 111 Woodlawn Ave., Massena, on a bench warrant at 2:13 p.m. Thursday. He reportedly failedto report as directed to the probation department after being released under the supervision of the probation department on second-degree criminal trespass and resisting arresr charges pending in village court. He was arraigned on the warranr by Massena Village Justice Eric J. Gustafson and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $250 cash.

Tuperwas charged with criminal trespass and resisting arrest by village police at 6 a.m. Jan. 19.

He allegedly blocked the door of his ex-girlfriend’s house and refused to leave. He was highly intoxicated, according to police, and resisted arrest when they arrived.

UNSAFE BACKING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Betha M. Campbell, 65, of Highway 2, Ingleside, Ont., with unsafe backing at 11 a.m. Thursday following a properrty damage accident in the Romeo’s Liquor Store parking lot.

INADEQUATE STOP LAMPS - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Alice C. Pitts, 67, of Maple Street, Massena, for operation of a vehicle with inadequate brake lights at 8:39 p.m. Thirsday following a traffic stop on East Orvis Street.
