ALEXANDRIA BAY — The Old Homestead and the Spot restaurant buildings, 30 James St., were sold for $490,000, according to Jefferson County property sale records May 15.

The new owners — Alan E. Taylor and his wife, Michele T., who own the Lil’ River Fudge Co. — told the Times in January the buildings had been partially refurbished by former owner Sean J. Donegan, Alexandria Bay, and they hope to further renovate the buildings and eventually repair the vintage neon signs.
