The town of Watertown Ambulance Service will show off its new digs on outer Washington Street during an open house Saturday.

The ambulance corps has been using the former Grenadier Construction Corp. building at 18535 Route 11 for months but only recently finished sprucing it up.

The open house will culminate a series of activities promoting EMS Week, which began Sunday. The open house will be from noon to 4 p.m. Ambulance officials will recognize businesses that donated funding to help the squad move into the new headquarters.

Afterward, a cookout for the ambulance squad’s EMTs will be held at the ambulance station.

At 6 p.m. Thursday, a CPR/AED class for town of Watertown residents will be held at the Jefferson-Lewis Board of Cooperative Educational Services complex on Route 3. The ambulance squad will teach CPR with automated external defibrillator training.
