FOLLOWING TOO CLOSELY - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Taylor M. Pickett, 22, of Watertown for following too closely at 2:10 p.m. Sunday following an investigation into a two-vehicle accident on Main Street. Police said their investigation revealed when an uninvolved vehicle stopped for a pedestrian waiting to cross the streetPickettwas unable to bring her vehicle to a stop before colliding with the rear of a vehicle which was also travelling eastbound on Main Street.

1344 St. Lawrence County Central Dispatch contacted Potsdam Police Department to request the response of patrols to a 911 hang up call on Larnard Street.
1424 Patrols responded to the report of a two-vehicle property damage collision on Main Street. Ticket issued.
Investigation revealed that, while an uninvolved vehicle stopped for a pedestrian waiting to cross the street, the vehicle operated by Taylor M. Pickett of Watertown, NY was unable to bring her vehicle to a stop before colliding with the rear of a vehicle which was also travelling eastbound on Main Street.
1711 Dispatch fielded a walk-in complaint regarding a small animal confined in a vehicle in the Munson Street parking lot. Patrols dispatched and report that the windows of the vehicle were lowered and the animal did not display any symptoms of heat-related distress.
1736 Patrol completed a traffic stop on Lawrence Avenue. No ticket issued.
