WATERTOWN - The FC Freeze U16 Boy’s contingent completed a busy week of action playing three competetive games on the road in the extremely balanced NNYSL going 0-2-1.

The locals, now 1-2-1, dropped a 3-1 decision to the NOSC Pirates of South Jefferson, tied General Brown Soccer Club 2-2 and came up on the short side of a 3-2 decision to Upstate United of Watertown.

Upstate United 3, FC Freeze 2: The locals opened up a 2-0 first half lead as Ogdensburg’s Peyton Lalone scored then set up Madrid-Waddington’s Tyler Robinson who found the back of the net before Upstate United kept their unbeaten streak intact tallying the final three markers of the contest. Wyatt Snell of Parishville-Hopkinton stopped 10 shots in the FC Freeze net.

FC Freeze 2, General Brown 2: Lisbon’s Adam Kelley and Madrid-Waddington’s Tyler Robinson each found the back of the net with Kane Jordan of Lisbon and Zach LaShombe of Heuvelton sharing the goalkeeping duties for the FC Freeze.

NOSC Pirates 3, FC Freeze 1: Despite outshooting their opponent 15-8, the FC Freeze came up on the short end as Adam Kelly of Lisbon scored from a Drew Pierson (Canton) assist. Heuvelton’s Zach Lashombe stopped 5 shots in the crease.
