The Souce Capital Group recorded wins in Kiwanis Junior Grasshopper Baseball and Girls Softball on Monday.

JUNIOR GRASSHOPPER

Source Capital 7 DeFelsko 2:Ben LaRock (8Ks) and Jack LaRock (8Ks) pitched Source Capital to victory and Jayden Carr belted a grand slam in the first inning. Ben LaRock also homered and other hits came from: Jack LaRock, Tyler Gravlin, Isaac LaRock and Dawson Olmstead.

In the bottom of the sixth Source Capital stalled a late charge by DeFelsko when Ben LaRock fielded a long hit by Todd Carroll and threw to Tyler Gravlin who blocked the plate and got the out.

Drew Piercy pitched for DeFelsko collecting eight strikeouts and the bullpen held Source Capital to one hit while striking out four. Kelson Hooper hit a homerun and a single and Trent Sargent collected 2 hits. Also reaching base were Drew Piercey, Ian Sovie, Dylan Moran and Matthew Goolden.

GIRLS SOFTBALL

Source Capital Group 18, NPS 9: Alexa McKee (3 singles) and Emma Stemples (double, single) pitched thewin and led the offense.

Brielle McKee ripped a double while Brooke Measheaw, Katie House, Abbie Thompson and Kamrynn Gammon singled.

Eliza Martin and Emily Basford pitched for NPS. Megan Woodard and Emily Basford each singled twice while while Martin stroked a double and two singles and Julia Lemieux and Dakota West each singled.
