The Lisbon School Interact Relay for Life Jamaican A Difference team would like to extend a thank-you to everyone who helped in our fundraising efforts.We raised $3,900 for the American Cancer Society.
Thanks to Ray and Patty Barney and family, Blue Heron Realty, Cobblestone Gifts, Collins-Hammond Electrical, Corporate Center, Crowley Computers, ELAD Detailing, Evans Farm Repair, Lisbon Central School Staff, Lisbon Lions Club, Ogdensburg Rotary Club, Parkway Express and Parkway Convenience Storesfor purchasing $100cancer fact signs from the students that were displayed at the walk.
Thanks to Dave and Dawn Mertz for deejaying our Winter Ball in February - what a great kickoff fundraiser! To the people who purchased bricks on our Knights Fight Back wall, lap bead necklaces, and raffle tickets for our quilt - thank you!Congratulations to Sally Clark, the winner of the quilt handmade by Rachel Livingston.
Special thanks to our chaperones, Tammy Amo, Patti and Ray Barney, Megan Bowdish, Cindy and Chelsey Carr, Chris Hammond, Rachael Livingston, Carol Smith, and Jamie Sovie, for organizing fundraisers and taking time out of their busy schedules to oversee the 20 teenagers on the team.
Thank you to the people who organized the event, the people who entertained throughout the evening, and the inspirational speakers. Our students had a very positive experience at the Ogdensburg event supporting the fight against cancer.
