BURGLARY - WADDINGTON - Massena-based state police charged Donald F. Charleson, 33, of Potsdam with four counts of third-degree burglary, three counts of second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and three counts of circumventing an interlock ignition device after a driving while intoxicated conviction on Tuesday following an investigation launched by a May 28 complaint from the town of Waddington. Troopers said he was taken into custody Tuesday on Bank Street in Norfolk, arraigned in local court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.
IDENTITY THEFT - MALONE - Malone-based state police charged Timothy A. Wilcox, 50, of Norfolk with second-degree identity theft Tuesday stemming from an investigation reported at 1:53 p.m. June 13 from the town of Malone. He was arraigned in local court and sent to the Franklin County Jail.
PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Douglas H. Wilson, 35, of Massena with petit larceny Tuesday following an investigation into a shoplifting complaint filed at 7:45 p.m. May 30 from the town of Potsdam.
PETIT LARCENY - Canton-based state police charged Brian L. Middlemiss, 28, of Ogdensburg with petit larceny Monday following an investigation into a shoplifting complaint filed with troopers at 2:20 p.m. June 7 from the town of Potsdam. As part of that same investigation, Meggin E. Ashley, 26, of Ogdensburg had been charged June 9 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - CANTON - State police investigated a number of property damage accidents around the region on Tuesday. Among those were:
■ Cheryl A. Seifert, 67, of Tupper Lake at 7:35 p.m. on state Route 56, near Stark Road, in the town of Colton.
■ Amanda Marie Gardner, 34, of Massena and Nolan Fletcher, 20, of Lisbon were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 8:52 p.m. in the Lisbon Beach parking lot off Route 37 in the town of Lisbon.
■ Deborah J. Leroux, 45, of Massena at 7:32 a.m. on state Route 310, near County Route 44, in the town of Norfolk.
