Brandon Short doubled and scored for Steele-Petersons Westerns in the fifth inning. Matt Guardino supplied an RBI. Heuveltons Mike Guardino, Norwood-Norfolks Cody Rust, Heuveltons Aaron Cobb, Tupper Lakes Marcus Richer and Josh Clement, Norwood-Norfolks Chris Prashaw, Lisbons James Darcy, and Heuveltons Chris Power all participated in the setback.
Basons Easterns had 12 hits and showed a little deeper line-up.
Gouverneurs Hunter Ayen had an RBI-double in a three-run third for a 4-0 lead for the Easterns, who also scored 10 runs in the fifth sparked by OFAs Pat Cosmo and Konnor Murdock with RBI-doubles.
Comso had three hits including a double Ayen and OFAs Andrew Cole each had two hits while Gouverneurs Matt Waugh, OFAs Zach Sharpe, Harrisvilles Nick Weir, and OFAs Branden Arsenault each single and drove in a run.
Jake Cummings of Gouverneur and Wood each scored a run.
