BRASHER FALLS - The FC Freeze relayed a 1-0 halftime lead into a 5-0 win over Brasher Falls in North Country Women’s Summer Soccer action on Tuesday.

Courtney Ashley, Alicia Jones and Eileen Coyle anchored the winning effort with a goal and assist each. Tara Evans and Brianna Hayes struck for the other goals while Sara Elliott and Emily Sloan each finished with an assist.

In the other games staged on Tuesday, North Country Collision outlasted Heuvelton 2-1, Harrisville blanked KMA Construction-Chip’s Place 2-0, Canton edged Edwards-Knox 1-0, Akwesasne downed Massena 3-0 and Colton-Parishville stopped Parishville-Potsdam 4-0.

NCC 2, Heuvelton 1: Ali Fayette and Hillary Hitchman connected for the North Country Collision goals while Josie Cole countered with the lone Heuvelton tally.

STANDINGS:Akwesasne 3-0; Colton-Parishville 2-0-1; Potsdam One 2-0-1; Edwards-Knox 2-1; Canton 2-0; FC Freeze 2-0; Massena 1-1; Harrisville 1-2; Heuvelton 1-2; Norwood-Norfolk 0-1; Brasher Falls 0-3; Parishville-Potsdam 0-3; Potsdam Two 0-3.
