Tim Fuller and Tim McCreadie finished ninth and 21st, respectively, from good starting positions Sunday night in a World of Outlaws late-model tour series race at Cornwall (Ontario) Motor Speedway.
Edwards native Fuller had the pole for the 50-lap feature and McCreadie, a Watertown native, was on the outside pole. Both encountered trouble, with McCreadie dealing with drive shaft issues that caused his car to spin into the infield.
Three laps later, Fuller ran into car problems and tumbled out of the top five.
Darrell Lanigan, the defending late-model champion, won the 24-car race, his second on the tour into Canada. Big-block modified veteran Billy Decker of Unadilla finished fourth. It was Deckers second top-five finish in three tour races over five days.
