MASSENA -Marvin A. Beaudette 86, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning at the St. Regis Nursing Home. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:00am Saturday June 29, 2013 at the Church of The Sacred Heart with Rev. Donald J. Manfred presiding. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery following the service with full military honors. Marvin was born to the late Joseph and Blanche Dorothy (Bousie) Beaudette in Highland Park, Michigan.

Graduating from Massena Central Marvin soon enlisted into the U.S Air Force, serving his country honorably during WWII. Marvin returned home and married Margaret D. Garcia on October 21, 1950 at St. Mary’s Church in Massena with Rev. Joseph Heslin presiding. She preceded him on January 1, 2012. Marvin was employed at ALCOA as a motor winder, retiring in 1988 after being employed for close to 41 years. Marvin is survived by his two children, Robert and wife Janet of Hershey, PA; Barbara and husband Scott Anderson of Massena, four grandchildren, a great grandchild, two sisters Dorothy Page of Massena and Bethel Dodge of Syracuse, many nieces and nephews. He was

predeceased by his siblings Muriel Robinson and Barton Beaudette.

Marvin enjoyed playing golf and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. He was a past president of the Alcoa 25 year club, a past director of little league baseball, and loved growing roses for his wife Margaret.

Also he was a past member of the Massena Country Club and Loyal order of Moose lodge #1110. Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Catholic Endowment Fund. Memories or online condolences may be left for the family at www.phillipsmeorial.com
