Ogdensburg Bowl I wins doubleheader; Ogdensburg Bowl II, The Pub solid in Slo-Pitch Softball

Ogdensburg Bowl I swept DaVinci’s 22-21 and 10-6, Ogdensburg Bowl II defeated Hosmer’s 9-5 and The Pub denied Buster’s 17-4 in See-Way Slo-Pitch Softball action.

Ogdensburg Bowl I 22, DaVinci’s 21: Chris Frary’s walk off homerun in a five run seventh inning lifted Ogdensburg Bowl. Brent Chevier and Mike Raven connected for a triple, a double and a single to lead the way. Jake Herzog and David Blackburn each doubled and singled for the winners who exploited 10 walks.

Zach Sharpe lined three singles and two doubles for DaVinci’s. Bill Durham belted a homerun, two doubles and a single and Shawn Knapp added two triples and a single.

Ogdensburg Bowl I 10, Davinci’s I 6: Brent Chevrier belted a homerun and a single and Tyler Sansoucy smacked a double and a single to lead Ogdensburg Bowl I.

Bill Durham lined three singles for DaVinci’s and Justin Martel and Norm Martel each singled twice.

Ogdensburg Bowl II 9, Hosmers 5: Dave Putman belted a homerun and TJ Jacobs, Mike Perry, and Josh Crawford each stroked a triple and a single for Ogdensburg Bowl. Al Ashley supplied a double and a single for Hosmer’s ands Willy Barr and Rob Powers each singled twice.

The Pub 17, Buster’s 4: Scott McCormick lined two doubles and a single, Jamie Ladouceur ripped two singles and a double and Don McCarthy rapped a triple and a single for The Pub.

Andy Bell had two hits for Buster’s.
