HELENA - Jerry Mahoney of Helena will be the first admit that it is not usual for him to have trouble locating his tee shot in a round of golf.
On Wednesday night, at the Oldtimers League at the Cedar View Country, the retired teacher and football from St. Lawrence found his ball in the last place he looked after tee shot on the 150-yard 11th hole disappeared from view.
After looking behind the green he found the ball nestled in the hole.
While playing with J.D. White and Norris and Robert Thompson he used a six-iron to record his first ace ever.
