Watertown native Tim McCreadie had a good run at Josh Richards on Saturday night in the seventh annual Firecracker 100 at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pa., but he couldnt catch the eventual winner.
McCreadie finished second and collected $15,650 for his race team.
Richards, of Shinnston, W.Va., made it a sweep of the three races at the speedway that began Thursday night. He took home a $30,000 purse for Saturdays win. Tim Fuller of Watertown finished ninth.
Dexter native Robbie Bellinger won the 35-lap big-block modified feature Saturday night at Fulton Speedway.
