James G. Termin, 58, 0f Riverledge Road, died Saturday morning at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
James was born September 28, 1954, son of Harry J. Termin and Iris Conley, in Ankara, Turkey, where his father was stationed with the United States Army. He graduated from Groton High School, Groton, Massachusetts. He worked most of his career as a union carpenter for The Umited Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, Local 0277. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time on the St. Lawrence River.
He was a devoted son, brother, father, and grandfather.
James is survived by his parents, Harry J. Termin and Iris Johns and step-mother, Judith Termin, two sons, James G. Termin, Jr and his husband Jason Hafferman, Washington D.C., and Ryan J. Termin,Pennsylvania, a daughter, Mrs. Daniel (Natisha) Ward, Brier Hill, NY, seven grandchildren, six brothers, and five sisters (two deceased)
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Lawrence County SPCA.
