Good word of advice, drugs and smoking can kill so it’s the worst thing to do ever in your life ~ 75,000 people die caused by alcohol a year in the U.S. alone. That’s too many people dying. That is also not including the 400,000 people that die from tobacco related problems.

I really hope that you’re not one of those seventy-five thousand people who will die from those problems because I surely won’t be. Most of the tobacco related deaths are because of smoking. Smoking is the worst thing to do in the world ever in your life.

Did you know that there are more than 200 deadly chemicals in just one cigarette? For example, there is toxic waste, rat poison, and nicotine just in one cigarette. That’s not cool yo. Why is it so important Since when was looking cool worth your own life?

If you want to stop this mutiny right now, there is a decision making model for you that can help with the renderous problem. It’s called D.A.R.E. I learned a lot from it.

There are several things that I learned in the D.A.R.E. program. For example, I learned what to do if some one wants me to try these terrible things like smoking or drinking under age. That is called peer pressure.

The best thing to do is to just say no, then, if that doesn’t work, give an excuse like you could say that you are allergic to some of the stuff that is in alcohol. Another good excuse is to tell them that you have to go and just walk away. In D.A.R.E. classes I got to see what a drunken person sees with these cool drunk buster goggles.

I also learned how to talk to someone effectively and to effectively listen to other people when they are talking to me. For example, when you look the person you are talking to straight in the eye, and talk loud enough for them to hear you, they will listen to you. When someone is talking to you, you still look them in the eye and listen to every word you hear them say.

Even if you don’t think it’s not interesting, just act like it. They might think that they tell good stories. Those are good people skills that I learned in D.A.R.E.

There are a lot of things that you can learn to resist drugs and violence. There are so many things I still need to tell you, but so little time to tell you everything. So I’ll stop at this, don’t do drugs and don’t smoke it can kill you. Take it from me and from your D.A.R.E. officer.
