MASSENA: Lula I. LaVack, 90 recently of Andrews St. passed away Wednesday July 10, 2013 at the St. Regis Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. Lula was born on May 7, 1923 in St. Regis Falls, NY the daughter of Steven and Edna (Brown) White. She married Joseph LaVack on September 13, 1943.

Lula was employed as an Assistant Manager at Huntington Heights Apt. in Watertown, NY.

Lula enjoyed sewing many items for her family and she also enjoyed reading. She enjoyed spending time with her beloved great grandchildren. Surviving Lula is her husband of 70 years, Joseph of the St. Regis Nursing Home, her son Gregory and wife Nancy LaVack of Massena, three grandchildren, Jennifer and Jay Snow of Whitesboro, NY; Brian and Krista LaVack of Massena, Michelle and Terry Fisher of Chase Mills, six great grandchildren; Kiley and Auna Snow, Jake and Molly LaVack, Brandan Fennell and Evan Fisher, a sister Esther and Rawly Arno of Watertown. She was predeceased by a daughter Pamela Kelly in 1999. A graveside service for Lula will be held 10:00AM Friday (July 12, 2013) at Calvary Cemetery with Rev. Scott D. Fobare presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to the Massena Rescue Squad.
