Esther L. Rossman, age 79, resident of Pierrepont Manor, passed away Tuesday at her home. She was a resident of Pierrepont Manor since 1999 and had previously resided in Cape May, NJ. Esther was born March 15, 1934 in Syracuse. She graduated from Syracuse Schools. Esther married James Rossman on May 4, 1956. She was a former member of Pilgrim Holiness Church in Pierrepont Manor.
Surviving, her husband, James E. Rossman, two sons, Mark (Carolyn) Rossman of Concord, AL and Scott (Rhonda) Rossman of Hueytown, AL, three daughters, Cindy VanVranken of Rodman, Holly (Bill) Babcock of Pierrepont Manor and Jeri (Gerald) Mitchell of Watertown, three sisters, Ella Einback of Pulaski, Louise Adam of Florida and Mary Jane Sharon of Liverpool, two brothers, Carl and James Kastler both of Syracuse, 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Esther was predeceased by one son in-law, Edwin VanVranken.
Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with burial in Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours will be held, today, July 11th, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Jefferson County Hospice.
