Playing with just 11 players, Frary’s Funeral Home of Ogdensburg broke the .500 barrier improving to 4-3-2 with a 3-2 win over S&L Electric of Colton at OFA on Wednesday in North Country Men’s Summer Soccer League action.

Ian Amo generated two goals while Ricky Stevenson added a goal. Matt Gladle produced two assists while Dylan Reed added a helper. Brian Wood and Jordan Spears played solid in the defensive zone for goalie Nathan Beaulieu.

Jeremy Dunning and Scott Boyce scored for S&L Electric.

In other action, CJ’s Chip’s Place edged lisbon 2-1, Massena topped Ogdensburg Pepsi-The Place 4-2, and Ogdensburg Amp-Jrecks blanked SeaCom Federal Credit Union 5-0.

AMP 5, SeaComm 0: Alex Rhea anchored a balanced offense with two goals in a game that was called in the second half due to lightning.

Dave Thornhill, Paul LaPlante and Gian Rufa netted the other goals while Mary Burns earned a solo assist and netminder Sasha Tokarev handled the four shots he faced to log his first shutout of the summer.

Massena S&L 4, Pepsi-The Place 2: Dalton Mullin generated three goals in the winning effort. Ryan Chauvin fashioned three assists and Brandon Albert tallied a goal and assist while Alan Davis made 12 saves in posting the shutout.

CJ’s-Chips Place 2, St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union -The Place II 1: Scott Bartenstein broke through for a pair of goals, both off assists from Alex Parker, in helping to lift CJ’s-Chip’s Place past Lisbon.

Adam Felt tied the game at 1-1 after converting on a penalty kick in the second half for the SLFCU.

Ben Steinberg made five saves working the crease in the win while Bill Gemmill turned aside 16 shots backstopping the Lisbon cause.
