The following were charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:
■ Timothy I. Bakker, 19, Port Leyden, was charged by Lewis County sheriffs deputies after a traffic compliant was reported at 4 p.m. July 9 on Route 12 near Whitaker Road in Martinsburg.
Deputies said Mr. Bakker damaged a 1999 Hyundai Elantra when it became disabled. He is accused of breaking the vehicles windows and punching and kicking the body panels, causing damage.
Deputies said that they detected the odor of alcohol during their investigation and that Mr. Bakker refused to submit to a breath test.
■ Jennifer M. Olmstead, 38, of 5488 Elm St., Lowville, was charged by Lowville village police at 2:30 a.m. Sunday following a domestic dispute at the Fastrac gas station in the village. During their investigation, police said, they found a strong smell of alcohol on her breath.
Her blood alcohol content was measured at 0.14 percent, police said. A BAC of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law.
■ Roger C. Cook, 60, Barstow, Calif., was charged by Jefferson County sheriffs deputies after crashing his vehicle into a motorcycle at 3:27 p.m. Saturday at JKs Roadhouse Motel, 24818 Route 26, town of Alexandria. He was also ticketed with improper backing. Deputies said Mr. Cook refused to have his BAC measured, and it was not listed.
■ Sean J. Eicher, 21, of 10602 5th Armored Division Drive, Fort Drum, also was charged by Jefferson County sheriffs deputies at 4:17 a.m. Saturday with failing to keep right following a crash on Route 11. His BAC was measured at 0.16 percent, deputies said.
■ Angela D. Campanur, 28, Murphysboro, Ill., was charged at 3:40 a.m. Saturday by Jefferson County sheriffs deputies with aggravated DWI after being seen crossing over the hazard line multiple times on Route 11, deputies said. Her BAC was measured at 0.18 percent, deputies said. Aggravated DWI is charged when the BAC is 0.18 percent or more.
■ Dustin R. Underwood, 23, of 22320 Boyd Road, Carthage, was charged by state police at 8:10 a.m. Friday on Alexandria Street Road, town of Wilna. His BAC was not available.
■ Brent W. Pelkey, 23, of 10 Cook St., Massena, was charged by state police at 7:23 a.m. Friday at East Drive and Pleasant Street in Canton with felony DWI.
He also was charged with several other counts, including unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to keep right, failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign, a turn-signal violation and drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle. Police said Mr. Pelkey has a previous DWI conviction within the past 10 years. His BAC was not available.
■ Jason A. Suiter, 31, Glenfield, was charged about 1:30 a.m. July 9 by Lewis County sheriffs deputies with aggravated DWI and speed not reasonable or prudent following a one-vehicle accident on Number Four Road, town of Watson.
Mr. Suiter is accused of losing control of his 2004 Hyundai Accent, which left the road and went over a large embankment. Deputies said he was alone in the vehicle and was not injured. His BAC was listed as 0.22 percent.
