Ron’s Agridrainage improves to 4-0 in NNY Box Lacrosse


BRASHER FALLS - Ron’s Agridrainage remained unbeaten via a 20-15 decision over B&W Quick Stop while Massena Savings and Loan outscored Embridge-St. Lawrence Gas 18-13 in the Northern New York Box Lacrosse High School Division matchups at the Tri-Town Arena on Wednesday.

The Elementary Division saw Dow Electrict break through for its first win in four tries against Stacey Howlett, DDS while the Whites beat the Reds 19-13 in the Adults Division.

Ogdensburg Pepsi once again sponsored Powerade Player of the Game awards for the High School and Elementary Division games.


Ron’s 20, B&W Quick Stop 15: Player of the game Nick Randall, Drew Rose (2 assists) and Dennis Powell each netted five goals in the winning effort while Owen Kowalchuk tallied three goals and two assists as Ron’s improved to 4-0.

Lukas Arquiett generated six goals and two helpers as player of teh game for B&W Quick Stop. Jacob Sutton added four goals and one assist while Jah Robertson finished with two goals and a solo helper.

Massena S&L 18, Embridge-SLG 13: Cole Allen led the winning attack with seven goals and two assists in earning player of the game honors. Trent Dow struck for a pair of goals while Zach St. Hilaire fashioned three assists.

Isaiah Lyon produced four goals and two assists in the losing cause. Blake Premo scored three times while Ethan Beason contributed a goal and two assists.

Three goaltenders split crease duties over the course of the two games. Kody Kocsis had 29 saves and tallied two goals and two assists along with being selected player of the game in the second contest. Cash Feeley turned aside 31 shots and Parker Hornung stopped 28 shots. Feeley and Hornung each logged a solo assist as well.


Dow Electric 15, Stacey Howlett, DDS, 13: Jonah Beason scored a goal in being named player of the game for Dow Electric. Evan Demurs anchored the winning attack with six goals while Jayden Ashley contributed another four while Myles Bordeleau worked the crease for five saves.

Gage Charleson generated seven goals as the player of the game in the losing casue. Sehtha Beason chipped in two goals while Esther Barksdale broke through for her first goal of the season and Logan Premo turned aside six shots.


Whites 19, Reds 13: Cody Kilcoyne led the winning effort with five goals and two assists. Kyle Phelix scored a goal and helped set up four others while Jack Charlebois chipped in two goals and two assists. Brian Labier made 15 saves backstopping the win.

For the Reds, Brian Newtown managed three goals and two assists. Charlie Dullea netted four goals followed by Kyle Benton with three while Andrew Fiske turned aside 16 shots.

Monday Games: Elementary Division - Howlett, DDS, vs. Dow Electric 5:30 p.m.; High School Division - Ron’s vs. Embridge-SLG 6:30 p.m., B&W Quick Stop vs. Massena S&L 7:30 p.m.; Adult Division 8:30 p.m.
