■ HAILESBORO — The town of Fowler’s August meeting has been changed to 7 p.m. Aug. 13 at the town hall.

n GOUVERNEUR — The village and town will flush hydrants from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.

n MASSENA — Trinity Catholic School received $2,430 from a test-drive fundraiser conducted by Blevins Seaway Motors, Massena.

n FISHERS LANDING — Orleans’ Town Council will hold its next meeting 7 p.m. Aug. 8 at the Fishers Landing Fire Department on County Route 195 instead of at its municipal building in LaFargeville.

n PITCAIRN — The Town Council will hold a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the town hall to discuss a possible change in the telecommunications law and Black River Stages’ road-opening request.

n GOUVERNEUR — A caucus of village and town Democrats will take place at 9 a.m. Aug. 3 in the municipal building to nominate candidates for supervisor, town clerk, town justice, two council seats, mayor and two trustees.
