S&L Electric booters outscore undermanned Pepsi-The Place in men’s soccer


LISBON - S&L Electric of Colton blanked Ogdensburg AMP-Jreck Subs 2-0 in North Country Men’s Summer Soccer action staged the Lisbon Central field on Sunday.

Jeremy Dunning netted the first goal off an assist from Alex Bonno. Devin Dulmage added the insurance goal assisted by Jeff McGregor.

In the other games Sunday, Hoot Owl-NCSB outscored Pepsi-The Place 7-2 and Frary Funeral Home blanked Massena Savings and Loan 3-0 while SeaComm played CKON-Signs and Stitches to a scoreless draw.

Hoot Owl-NCSB 7, Pepsi-The Place 3: Travis Jordan scored twice while Tyler Gallagher, Colby Young, Repton Abrams, Athony Spadaccini and Ryan Kocher each netted singletons for the Canton-based squad.

Grant Prudhomme and Andrew Para scored for Pepsi-the Place, which was playing two-men down. Ryan Hayes (3 saves) Tyler Gallagher (2 saves) combined to backstop the win.

Frary 3, Massena S&L 0: Dylan Reed broke through for a pair of goals and Ricky Stevenson added a singleton in the winning effort while Nate Beaulieu worked the crease for the shutout.

SeaComm 0, CKON-Signs and Stitches 0: Jordan Kendall for SeaComm and Zack Smith for CKON-Signs and Stitches backstopped their respective shutouts.
