Four Massena residents charged following residential burglary

MASSENA - Four Massena residents were charged Monday following a residential burglary in which a weapon was stolen on Nightengale Avenue, Massena.

Village police charged Caleb J. Mossow, 16, of 9 North Clarkson Ave., Massena, with second-degree burglary and petit larceny.

They also charged Sawyer E. White, 16, of 41 Somerset Ave., Massena, with second-degree burglary, third-degree criminal sale of a firearm, fourth-degree grand larceny, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and petit larceny.

Jesse K. Jordan, 16, of 351 East Orvis St., Apt. A, Massena, was charged with second-degree burglary, third-degree criminal sale of a firearm, fourth-degree grand larceny, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and petit larceny.

Village police also charged Dusty Huckle, 20, of 351 East Orvis St., Apt. 15, Massena, with third-degree criminal sale of a firearm, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Police said they received a complaint of a residential burglary Monday on Nightengale Avenue after the owners returned home to find their house had been unlawfully entered and items stolen, including a 32 caliber handgun.

They said that, as a result of their investigation, they obtained a search warrant which was executed at 351 East Orvis St., Massena, where the stolen handgun was recovered.

The four were awaiting arraignment Tuesday morning.
