George Alberry, 71, of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 21st, 2013 at Virtua Memorial Hospital, Mount Holly, NJ.

George was born in Watertown, New York and has resided in Mount Laurel, NJ since 1973.

George, lovingly referred to as Pop Pop by all who knew him, is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Myung Suk Alberry; daughters Carol L. Talarico (William) and Connie J. Moody (Peter); brothers Ken and Earl; sister Ruth Hall; and most cherished grandchildren Jacqueline, Matthew, Christina, Michael, Kayla, Lynette, Peter, and Cody. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Cathie Ann Eggink. He always cherished the memories of the years on the upstate NY farm where he was raised by Beulah and Kenneth Hayes.

His family and friends were the most important to him. Pop Pop loved his hobbies of woodworking, fishing, flea markets and supporting his fellow Veterans.

The visitation will be held on Thursday, July 25th from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, immediately followed by a memorial service, all at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ. Final disposition will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of George Alberry may be made to the Trenton Vet Center, 934 Parkway Avenue, Suite 201, Ewing, NJ 08618. Please make checks payable to the “New Jersey Healthcare System FC #8821.”
