CROGHAN — Mary Anne Kirch, 43, of Kirschnerville Road, Croghan, beloved wife and mother, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, during childbirth on July 22, 2013 with her husband, John C. Kirch, by her side.

Mary was born August 17, 1969 in Ogdensburg, a daughter of William J. Welch, Jr. and the late Sharron Ann Parrow Welch. She graduated from Colton-Pierrepont High School in 1987. She worked for Clifton-Fine Central School, Star Lake, Beaverite Products, Croghan, and Freeman Bus Corp. On June 7, 2008 she married John C. Kirch at Beaver River Station, with Justice Tony Aucter officiating. Mary has worked as a bus driver for Beaver River Central School for the past four years.

She is survived by her husband, John; four children, Chakriya Anne, age 12; Christopher James, age 7; Christian Robert, age 4; and Calder William, newborn son; a great niece that she and her husband are raising, Shaylee Ann Gillespie; her father, William J. Welch, Jr. of Colton; a brother, William J. Welch, III; her father and mother-in-law, John and Bonnie Kirch of New Bremen; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her mother, Sharron Ann Welch, who died in 2012.

Most of all, Mary loved spending time with her children, husband and extended family. She enjoyed going to garage sales and collecting Princess House serving ware, camping and gardening.

Mary will be forever missed by her family and friends.

Calling hours will be Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc., 5702 Waters Road, Lowville. A Christian funeral will be Friday, July 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Matt Zehr officiating. Burial will follow in the New Bremen Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Mary Kirch Memorial Fund, (an educational fund for the care of her children), c/o Community Bank, 7395 Turin Road, Lowville, NY 13367.
