Halestorm will bring the heavy metal to JCC on Nov. 30

The heavy metal band Halestorm has been booked for a fall concert at Jefferson Community College.

The JCC Campus Activities Board announced this week that the band will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30 in McVean Gymnasium.

Halestorm lead singer Lzzy Hale made history being the first woman in the hard rock/metal category to receive a Grammy. She is joined in the Pennsylvania-based band by her sibling, Arejay, and Joe Hottinger and Josh Smith.

Halestorm released two other albums in 2012, “Hello It’s Mz Hyde” and “ReAniMate.”
