The Morristown Public Library’s “Dig Into Reading” Thursday group learned about painter Charles S. Chapman and his Morristown influence from local expert Joe McDonald.  The group made wreaths and took them to the Pine Hill Cemetery to pay respect to Mr. Chapman.

After learning from Lorraine Bogardus’s book River Reflections that Mr. Chapman liked color, the group “splashed it on” his grave in remembrance. Pictured are Liberty Montroy, Alaina Montroy, Mia Brunette, Eli Billings, Spencer Billings and Carson Beggs. (Submitted photo)
