Literacy of Northern New York seeks volunteers to work with adults who need help with math skills.
Free training will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Aug. 7 in the third floor conference room at 200 Washington St.
LNNY assesses each students math skills and provides books and materials. Tutors work one-to-one with their student on basic math skills such as division, fractions, decimals, percents and word problems. Tutors and students meet in a public place such as the LNNY office in Watertown or in a library.
To pre-register for the workshop, call the agency at 782-4270.
