DWI - MASSENA - Village police charged Kristine M. Deshane, 27, of 34 Lesperance Lane, Malone, with driving while intoxciated at 11:25 p.m. Saturday following a traffic stop on Andrews Street. She reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.17 percent, more than double the 0.08 percent threshold for a DWI charge.

DWI - MASSENA - Village police charged Corey J. Smith, 23, of 1417 state Route 56, Norfolk, with driving while intoxicated at 12:20 a.m. Sunday following a property damage accident on Willow Street. Police said Smith struck a utility pole in front of 192 Center St. He was also ticketed for speed not reasonable and prudent and failure to keep right. His blood alcohol content was not available.

AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - MASSENA - Village police charged Gerald Dissottle Sr., 42, of 9328 state Route 56, Norfolk, with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at 1:18 a.m. Sunday following a traffic stop on Willow Street.

ISSUING A BAD CHECK - MASSENA - Village police charged Tammy L. Wray, 37, of Waddington with issuing a bad check as part of an on-going invesigation into checks she reportedly wrote to the AmVets and the former Charlie’s on an account with insufficient funds. She was picked up by police at 1:41 a.m. Sunday on Willow Street and later released on an appearance ticket.
