To The Editor:
What is wrong with Verizon? Following the storm on the 18th of July, people are still with their phone service on the Reagon Road in West Stockholm.
There is an 87-year-old lady living on this road that just had surgery on the 18th of July and relies on her life line and has been unable to use it. It is a good thing she has good relatives, friends, and neighbors looking after her.
Today is the 24th of July, and she finally got her phone and life line working.
Priority should be given to people who depend on the phone for help in case of an emergency.
Verizon should get off their butt and get more help during a crisis, so that older people lives are not put in jeopardy.
