Lois M. White 86 of Prospect Circle, Massena passed away Saturday morning (August 10, 2013) surrounded by her loving family and hospice care.

Lois had been in failing health for the past several months.

Family and friends are invited to call Sunday from2-4 pm (August 11, 2013) at the Phillips Memorial Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday 12 noon (August 12.2013) at the Church of the Sacred Heart with Rev. Donald J. Manfred presiding. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Massena.

Lois is survived by her children, Robert and Ann of Parishville, Nancy and Robert Adams of Massena, five grandchildren; Natalie White, Monique White and husband Jess Rose, Charles White, Thomas and wife Vanessa White, James and spouse Megan Adams, two great grandchildren, Grayson James Adams and Cameron Thomas Adams. Lois is also survived by her brother Herman Richard Larrow of Massena and a sister Edna Mae Rufa of Winthrop and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Amos and Stanley Larrow. Lois was born March 17, 1927 in Hero, Vermont the daughter of Harold and Dora (Sharlow) Larrow. She married Earl L. White November 17, 1947 at the Church of the Sacred Heart. Earl predeceased her in March 19,2013.Lois was very involved in her husband’s insurance office being employed as secretary for the Nationwide Insurance for 10 years. She was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Church and a member of the L.C.B.A. Those wishing to honor Lois’s memory may do so to Trinity Catholic Endowment Fund or Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.
