Watson woman sentenced for driving under influence of drugs

LOWVILLE — A town of Watson woman was sentenced Thursday in Lewis County Court for driving under the influence of drugs.

Carissa J. Blair, 31, of 7124 Loson Road, was sentenced to five years’ probation, a $2,000 fine, $570 in court fees and a one-year driver’s license revocation on charges of driving while ability impaired by drugs and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, to which she pleaded guilty May 10.

Acting County Judge Donald E. Todd also ordered her to perform 240 hours of community service and attend the next victim impact panel.

Ms. Blair was stopped Jan. 26 on Loson Road in the town of Watson.
