DISORDERLY CONDUCT - POTSDAM - Village police charged Jarred D. Hyde, 24, of Malone with disorderly conduct at 12:33a.m. Friday after police responded to a report of an altercation at Maxfield’s on Market Street.

FORGED INSTRUMENT - POTSDAM Village police charged Seth D. Adams, 20, of Potsdam with third-degree possession of a forged instrument, second-degree obstruction ofgovernmental administration and resisting arrest at 4:09 p.m. Friday on Larnard Street. Police said the charges stemmed from an incident on Aug. 3 when police were called to a Larnard Street restaurant after Adams allegedly attempted to use a fraudulent identification to purchase alcohol. After a police officer arrived at the scene and seized the fake ID, the subject later fled the scene. Police said their subsequent investigation revealed Adams as a possible suspect. He was located at his residence Friday, positively identified as the subject in the case and charged.

SPEEDING - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Samantha P. Heald, 19, of Massena for speed in zone (47/30) at 8:50p.m. Friday following a traffic stop on Market Street.

FOLLOWING TOO CLOSELY - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Bryan J. Price, 21, of Potsdam, for following too closely at 6:25 p.m. Friday following a property damage accident on Pine Street.

RED LIGHT VIOLATION - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Brian P. Talley, 28, of Auburn for illegally passing a red light at 7:12 p.m. Friday following a traffic stop on Elm Street after police observed the violation on Sandstone Drive at Market Street.
