Former OFA standout Andy Duvall used a 67 on the second day to charge to first place in the Pro Division of the Tupper Lake Open at the Tupper Lake Golf Club last weekend. Duvall, who now resides in Connecticut, opened with a 72 on Saturday and followed with a 67 on Sunday to gain a two-stroke margin of victory of 139-141 over Matthew Campbell and win $2000.
Duvall, the son of Mike and Linda Duvall, is currently caddying at the Country Club of Darien, Ct. where he plays and practices for area tournaments. After playing on the Canadian PGA Tour last spring Duvall took a break from the tour and plans to attend qualifying school in the spring.
Duvall will follow the sun to Jupiter, Fla. this winter where he will caddy, play in the winter mini tours and work with his former coach.
