A Syracuse man faces an allegation that he provided Watertown police with someone else’s driver’s license during a traffic stop early Wednesday on Mundy Street.

Christopher E. Hickey, 23, is charged with second-degree criminal impersonation, first-degree falsifying business records, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and disobeying a stop sign.

It is alleged that during the traffic stop he offered the identification of Rashad L. Felder, Syracuse, in an attempt to prevent police from learning that his driver’s license was suspended. He is due to answer the charges in City Court.
