STOLEN PROPERTY - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police charged Adam W. Baxter, 34, of Raymondville with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property at 10:45 p.m. Sunday at 8637 state Route 56, Norfolk. Troopers said the charge stemmed from a larceny complaint filed with state police at 7:20 p.m. July 12 from the town of Norfolk.
Troopers said a female familiar with Baxter returned home and found him in her yard and when she attempted to confront him he got in a vehicle and left the area. The female then discovered a cordless tool set valued at $500 was missing from her property. She reportedly initially attempted to resolve the situation herself with Baxter but was unsuccessful.
Baxter was arraigned on the arrest warrant by Norfolk Town Justice Donald LUstyik and release on his own recognizance to reappear Wednesday.
PETIT LARCENY - BOMBAY - Malone-based state police charged Kurt W. Griffin, 54, of Bombay with petit larceny at 8:30 p.m. Sunday at 1793 state Route 95, Bombay. Troopers said the charge stemmed from a larceny complaint filed with state police at 6:16 p.m. Aug. 23 from the town of Bombay.
PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - CANTON - State police from around the region investigated a number of property damage accidents Sunday. Among those:
