Four facing charges of DWI


The following people face driving or boating while intoxicated charges:

nAdam R. Warner, 22, of 422 Grove St., Dexter, was charged by Watertown police about 2:15 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of South Indiana Avenue. His blood alcohol content was not available, but DWI is charged when a person’s BAC is alleged to be 0.08 percent or higher. He also was charged with having inadequate license plate lamps.

nRobert P. Gayfer, 68, of 360 S. Rutland St., was charged by Watertown police just before 4 p.m. Tuesday at his residence. His BAC was not available. He also was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon after police said he had an unregistered .38-caliber Smith & Wesson revolver at his home.

n Andre J. Charlebois, 63, Watertown, was charged by state police at 9 p.m. Tuesday on Route 37 in the town of Pamelia. Further information was not available.

n Todd M. Rizzo, 30, of 19092 County Route 189, Adams, was charged with BWI at 7:25 p.m. Sunday after being stopped in Sackets Harbor in the waters near Madison Barracks by a Coast Guard patrol doing a safety compliance check. His BAC was listed at 0.08 percent.
