Five Ladies Golf Association members came out for play in pretty dense fog in Tuesdays Ladies Day. The fog did not lift for three hours, in fact, the sun never did make a showing. Despite the dreary weather the women posted some good results.
The game of day was Count Your Putts. Patti Francis won with 26 putts and Candy LaMacchia was second with 30.
The girls also were really on with their short game with a number of chip-ins made by Toleda Mathews, Pat Harrington, Candy LaMacchia, and Patti Francis.
Candy LaMacchia had the longest drive on hole #11 and Julie Degone was closest to pin with her second shot on hole #17.
Low gross was recorded by Candy LaMacchia with 91.
All women members of the Club are invited to Tuesdays Sept. 3rd Ladies Day. Players are asked to please register at the clubhouse by 7:15 a.m.
