Chambers gets the nod in Gouverneur

Gouverneur Republican voters have a great opportunity on Tuesday, Sept. 10. The Republican primary will determine who will run on the Republican ticket in the forthcoming November election.

The choice is the incumbent or the newcomer William Chambers. William is a lifelong resident of Gouverneur, a retired New York State corrections employee, town of Dekalb code enforcement officer for the last seven years and a very knowledgable concerned citizen of the town of Gouverneur.

He is a researcher, a think-it-through kind of person. Decisions will be made with knowledge and the best interest of taxpayers first and foremost.

I have attended monthly town board meetings since 2009 and definitely know it is time for a change for the town of Gouverneur.

Mr. Chambers’s priorities include, but are not limited to, open and transparent government, fiscal responsibity with taxpayer money and future economic development.

Please vote for William Chambers on Sept. 10 in the Republican primary. He will do an exemplary, honest, fiscally responsible, transparent job for the taxpayers for the town of Gouverneur. A change is long overdue.
