MENACING - BUCKTON - Massena-based state police charged Joshua W. Charleson, 29, and Jonathan C. Charleson, 30, both of Winthrop, with third-degree menacing after responding to a harassment complaint filed with troopers at 10:09 a.m. Wednesday. Joshua Charleson was also charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. Takisha Guyette, 22, of Winthrop was charged with second-degree harassment and resisting arrest in connection with that same incident. All three arrests were made at 54 Scott Road, Buckton.

Troopers said a National Grid employee had gone to the residence to do a shut-off because the group allegedly owed more than $10,000 on their utility bill. The group allegedly came out from the residence and began to harass and yell at the National Grid employee, according to troopers.

Joshua and Jonathan Charleson were charged for allegedly threatening physical harm to the National Grid Employee, while Guyette allegedly threatened troopers and resisted arrest.

They were issued appearance tickets for Stockholm Town Court.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Jessica L. Ames, 31, of Canton with third-degree criminal mischief - damage greater than $250 and second-degree harassment after responding to a domestic dispute complaint filed at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday from the town of Potsdam.

PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Tonya N. Fuller, 21, of Constable with petit larceny Thursday stemming from an investigation into a shoplifting complaint filed with troopers on May 29. She was arraigned in local court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.

MAKING FALSE STATEMENT - MALONE - Malone-based state police charged Brian E. Stoddard, 22, of Bombay with making a false written statement Thursday following an investigation into a fraud complaint lodged with troopers on April 27.

PETIT LARCENY - MALONE - Malone-based state police charged Trevor P. Kennedy, 19, of St. Regis Falls with petit larceny Thursday afternoon after responding to a shoplifting complaint at 12:15 p.m. Thursday from the Malone Walmart.
