To The Editor:

The Ogdensburg First United Methodist Church located at 627 Caroline Street will hold one of their famous Baked Potato Dinners on Sept. 28 starting at 4:30 p.m. until all are served. This is no ordinary baked potato! Each dinner comes with a huge baked potato and many toppings including: butter, sour cream, chives, bacon bits, ham, taco meat, chili, peppers, salsa, black olives, onions, steamed broccoli, shredded cheese, melted cheese and the list goes on! Each dinner includes salad, bread and butter, dessert, and drink. A suggested donation is $5. You will not go away hungry!

Better yet your donation will benefit the N.O.W. program, Nurture, Outreach, Witness program, which does monthly activities to support our community. Some of the activities done by N.O.W. during the past year have been: making cookies for the Fire Department and Rescue Squad, passing out hot chocolate to shoppers, donating boxes of Kleenex to area schools, giving away scotch tape for gift wrapping, passing out garden seeds packs in the spring, and supplying passes to local children for the community swimming pool.

Please join us for this delicious dinner.
