To The Editor:
The St. Lawrence Valley Horsemans Association had two successful shows in August to end our regular show season. This summer we had many new young riders and their families. They are the riders of the future. We had many people pitch in and help with setting up the jumps, trail course, games and other help we needed. We wish to thank our sponsors. A big thanks to all.
Many thanks to Greg LaRose for the rings, fence and everything you do. The food booth workers were Mary Fonda and Lil LaRose, the entry booth tireless helpers are Marsha Oney at the computer, and games and Anita Morrill, the announcer, Fran Baxter did jumping course, worked in food booth and Linda Guidali sets up jumps, trail course and whatever is needed. Without this group we couldnt have shows. We want to especially thank Larry Denoyer, Bruce Green, Amy Fortin, Mary Shannon, Don Harwell, Brenda Wilson, the Edson family and Aurora Murray for their help. We thank the paper for all the publicity.
We end our year with a fun show and lunch on Sept. 15. There are fun classes and everyone is welcome to come and watch. We look forward to the 2014 show season.
