IHC rolls over APW; Beaver River prevails

PARISH — Cole Carpenter went 15 for 24 and threw for 269 yards and three touchdowns as the Immaculate Heart Central football team routed Altmar-Parish-Williamstown, 49-13 in a Section 3 Class C North Division matchup Saturday.

Carpenter found Miles Sexton twice from one yard and 26 yards out and hit Nick Kolemel with an 11-yard TD pass for the Cavaliers (2-0). Michael Marra added a pair of touchdown runs from one yard and 15 yards, and Cody St. Onge returned an interception 12 yards to cap the scoring.

Jarid Paninski tossed two touchdown passes (16, 26) to Baron Correll for the Rebels (0-2).


Erik Lyndaker rushed for 240 yards on 26 carries and scored three touchdowns to propel the Beavers past the Redskins in a Class D Central game in Beaver Falls.

Lyndaker scored on a 7-yard run to open the scoring for the Beavers (1-1) and also scored on rushes of 60 and three yards.

Quarterback Kyle Steiner completed 12 of 23 passes for 184 yards and a touchdown for Beaver River and also carried the ball 11 times for 50 yards, including a rushing touchdown.

Kaelyn Ferguson hauled in four passes for 73 yards and scored a touchdown for the Beavers, and Dylan Pate totaled 54 receiving yards on four catches.

Defensively, Steiner intercepted two passes, made six tackles, recorded a sack and also blocked a punt.


Billy Larkins recorded three touchdowns on only seven carries as the Red Raiders racked up 316 yards on the ground in a victory over the Wildcats in a Class C North game at Boonville.

Larkins scored from 23, 25 and 40 yards out and gained 131 yards for Lowville (2-0). Robert Campany rushed for 83 yards on seven carries and scored from two yards out, while Isaac Widrick added a 50-yard TD run.

Mike Weber and Joe Hennessey registered touchdown runs for Adirondack (0-2, 0-1).
