Jacobs Land Surveying of Lisbon, DeFelsos, Sholettes and the Medicine Place all recorded wins in recent Kiwanis Youth Soccer action.
JLS over Sholettes: Chase Jacobs and Kamdyn Johnson scored three goals each and Isabella Doyle and Cooper Davison anchored the defense.
For Sholettes, Holden Woods and Tristin Simmons scored a goal.
JLS over Twin Mill Farms: Two Lisbon teams produced a very thrilling and exciting game. JLS scored first with Aaron Morrow putting one away after Chase Jacobs had a break away with a pass. Kamdyn Johnson tallied a second goal and Twin Mill farms came back with a beautiful shot from a direct kick from Ben LaRock.
Kamdyn Johnson scored on a breakaway with a gorgeous shot low in the corner for a 3-1 JLS lead and Ben LaRock answered again with another direct kick that soared high in the corner making the score 3-2. Caleb Richardson and Lucas Graveline of Twin Mill Farms and David Pirie and Storm Walker were all cited by their coaches for excellent efforts in goal.
For JLS Emily Jordan and Sadie Glaser provided excellent playmaking for winners and Caleb Hayden and Matthew Bleau played very strong for Twin Mill Farms.
DeFelskos over Murrays Flooring (Game 1): Murrays grabbed its first 10-12 Kiwanis Youth Soccer victory of the season with a 3-2 decision. Aidan Murray scored the first goal in the second quarter, Matt Basford scored the second goal in third quarter. Murray scored again in the fourth quarter with an assist by Megan Woodard . Murrays defense was led by Kaitlin Sibley, Lara Martin, and Molly Williams protecting goalies Emma Smithers and Jacob Martin.
Goals were made for DeFelskos by Tristan Richardson and Niklas LaRue. Other outstanding plays were made by Connor Smith at midfield, Goalie Jake Sampson, and Damien Lawton in the midfield and on the front line.
DeFelskos over Murrays (Game 2): The first goal was made for DeFelskos by Damien Lawton with an assist by Emma LeBeau. The second goal was made by Todd Carrow with the tremendous team work of Niklas LaRue, Connor Smith, and Tristan Richardson.
Other outstanding players of the game were Erin Perretta in the midfield and the strong defense of Courtney Baker and Alexandra Reynolds.
Murrays played with a notable offense led by Megan Woodard and Aidan Murray, but could not penetrate the defense of DeFelsko. Bryce Lake who is playing his first year of soccer, made an outstanding showing in defense.
In the third quarter Matt Basford scored a goal after the whistle was blown for an off- sides call. Molly Williams scored the only official goal in the fourth quarter sinking a flawless penalty shot.
DeFelskos over Sholettes (Game I): In a 3-2 win for DeFelksos, Elizabeth Lemke, Dylan Irvine, and Abby Raven all scored with great defensive play displayed from Mallory Morley, Nathaniel Mills, Tess Tracy, and Cadence Payne. Also hustling in the win win were: Gaby Morley and Brayden Wall. Holden Woods and Tristin Simmons scored for Sholettes. Good defensive play was given by Dan Regan and Joslyn Kench while Collin Brenno and Brinley Frederick showed excellent hustle.
DeFelskos over Sholettes (Game II): In a 3-0 shutout, Ryan Warchol, Ian Amo and Ria Amo scored with Ramie Blackmer, Caitlin Kelly and Evan Felt playing great in the midfield.
Sholettes 2, Dirty Gringo 1: Collin Brenno and Thomas Demars scored for Sholettes with Mike Bice connecting for Dirty Gringo for a goal.
Medicine Place 1 - Lisbon Lions 0: Karson LaRose scored the only gol of the game from Connor Griffith in a well-played contest where Nathan LaPiene, Andrea Mills and Nolan ODonnell supplied strong play in net.
Antone Skamperle, Sloan Ryan and Kelson Hooper were all cited for strong two-way play.
Greg Wood made a series of nice saves in the Lisbon Lions goal backed by solid two-way play from Kristen Perry, Keegan Jordan and Greg Wood.
Medicine Place def Morristown: Karson LaRose (4), Nolan ODonnell (2), Nick Demers (1), Greg Mallott (2) and Rosie Jneault (1) scored for the Medicine Place and Taylor Bell and Gerard Powers anchored the defense. Nathan LaPiene and Paige Shaver combined in goal for the winners.
