BENCH WARRANT - MASSENA - Village police picked up Barry K. Hill III, 23, of 924 County Route 8, Apt. 1, Brushton, on a bench warrant for failure to appear on a disorderly conduct charge pending in village court. He was picked up by village police at the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, where he was being released on another count. He was turned over to Malone-based state police on a pending burglary charge.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - MASSENA - Village police charged Peter A. Nelligan, 29, of 15 Bishop Ave., Massena, with fourth-degree criminal mischief at 9:20 a.m. Friday following an investigation into an incident discovered by police early Thursday morning. Nelligan reportedly broke a window and neon beer sign at Auggie’s Tavern. Police said a review of videotape from the area showed Nelligan kicking and punching the window for 25-30 minutes.

SPEEDING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Lewis A. Mitchell, 57, of Cornwall, Ont., for speed in zone following a traffic stop at 11:15 a.m. Friday on the South Raquette River Road.
