BRUSHTON - The Potsdam Central varsity girls volleyball team posted a 3-0 NAC decision on the road over Brushton-Moira on Thursday.

Miranda Mangual tallied 13 service points, three aces and seven kills as the Lady Sandstoners won by scores of 25-11, 25-8, 25-7 in raising their unbeaten record to 6-0. Sarah Vivlamore generated 12 points, two aces, 20 sets and 14 assists while Elna Daby chipped in 10 points and one assist.

The Lady Sandstoners are slated to travel to Chateaugay on Tuesday in a mid-season meeting of undefeated division leaders.

In the other NAC match of the day, OFA outlasted Madrid-Waddington in five sets (23-25, 25-14, 25-23, 24-26, ,25-17)

Sky Hoover put together a triple double of 14 points, 14 kills and 10 aces with seven digs as one of the leaders of an OFA effort which also included 17 points, 11 kills and six aces by Taylor Fisher, 24 points, seven aces and three kills from Adrianna Compo, 22 assists four digs, three points and two aces from Taylor Perry and 18 assists, eight kills and seven digs from Emma Hart.

Leading the 2-3 Jackets were: Dia Richards (13 points, 5 aces), Janelle Trombley (8 points, 3 aces, 5 digs), Jenny King (16 points, 4 blocks, 5 kills) and libero Jasmine Trombley (10 digs).
