To The Editor:
As a independent candidate for justice of the peace of the town of Lisbon, I wish to express some of my views. When law is no longer a deterrent, the law is no longer valid. I will see that law is valid once again with judgments that are a deterrent. I will do my best to see that all laws are enforced, including federal laws, such as the federal immigration laws. I will see to it that I remain neutral in all matters by recusing myself in any in which I am ethically non-neutral.
It is my hope that by making laws a deterrent again it will cut down on the occurrences of unlawful activity, reducing the need of enforcement and the use of incarceration, giving substantial savings to the taxpayers of Lisbon, St. Lawrence County and the great state of New York.
